Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at YesCare. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $54,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, implementing orders for diagnostic lab tests, and maintaining inventory of supplies. They will also assist the RN or LVN as needed in the medical unit within scope of practice.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient vital signs
  • Implement orders for diagnostic lab tests according to site policy and The Joint Commission and ACA standards
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Assist the RN or LVN as needed in the medical unit within scope of practice
  • Maintain confidentiality of medical records
  • Documents in SOAP format all health-related encounters for patients
  • Records EKGs as directed by nurse
  • Assists physician with minor procedures
  • Maintain and cleans medical unit/equipment on a daily basis and as needed
  • Works in conjunction with the nurse to maintain daily duties required to run the clinic in an organized fashion
  • Assists with maintaining SENTRY and CorrecTek recordkeeping
  • Obtains specimens as directed and in accordance to policies and procedures within the scope of practice
  • Utilizes infection control techniques in a consistent manner
  • Attends mandatory monthly staff meetings
  • Collects data for Quality Improvement programs, as assigned
