Job Description

This role involves monitoring patient vital signs, implementing orders for diagnostic lab tests according to site policy and The Joint Commission and ACA standards, maintaining inventory of supplies, assisting the RN or LVN as needed in the medical unit within scope of practice, maintaining confidentiality of medical records, documenting in SOAP format all health-related encounters for patients, recording EKGs as directed by nurse, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in a clinic setting and scheduling experience are required.
  • A certification as an Medical Assistant and High school diploma or GED are also required.
  • Maintaining BCLS and having the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body are must-haves.
