About the Role:

The Mindfulness Instructor will play a crucial role in delivering Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) programs. This position may also encompass teaching additional courses related to mindfulness practices and interventions. The instructor will primarily conduct live-online sessions, with potential opportunities for in-person instruction at various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective mindfulness courses, focusing on MBSR and MBCT methodologies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of mindfulness curricula and relevant research to enhance program quality.
  • Develop and refine course materials that reflect best practices in mindfulness education.
  • Collaborate with the mindfulness team to achieve program objectives and support community engagement.
  • Participate in meetings and assist with informational sessions to promote mindfulness initiatives.


Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, education, or social work, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a qualified MBSR and/or MBCT instructor is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mindfulness-based programs.
  • At least 5 years of dedicated practice in mindfulness meditation, including participation in intensive training retreats.
  • Proven ability to create and implement diverse mindfulness curricula.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to foster an inclusive learning environment.
