Key Responsibilities- Design and Maintenance: Support the design and maintenance of process automation systems hardware, building automation, and PLC-controlled systems in our manufacturing facilities.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to other team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of our automation systems.
- Project Management: Manage projects related to automation system upgrades, modifications, and new installations.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support for automation systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues outside of regular working hours.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or an Associate Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or instrumentation, with a strong background in process automation systems, PLCs, and DCS.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming, DCS configuration, and automation system troubleshooting. Familiarity with Ethernet networks, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet IP.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of large-scale distributed control systems.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Foundation Fieldbus, Device Net, and Profibus. Ability to troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on bus IO systems.
- Construction Experience: Experience working on the floor in a manufacturing process environment, with knowledge of construction techniques and automation system hardware installation practices.
