Position Overview:

The clinical administration team plays a vital role in supporting both clinical and educational operations within our pre-doctoral and postgraduate clinics. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing professional, courteous, and effective support services, ensuring that patients, students, and faculty receive the information and assistance they need for a successful clinic experience.

This includes maintaining a secure environment, ensuring that patients' dental needs are met with care, confidentiality, and efficiency, while also managing financial transactions accurately.


Key Responsibilities:

Instrument Processing:
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when inspecting instrument cassettes, replacing any missing or damaged tools, and preparing items for sterilization. Operate autoclaves in compliance with university safety regulations.

Instrument Transport and Security:


Adhere to established instrument tracking protocols and manage service dispensaries throughout the facility, ensuring adequate inventory levels to facilitate smooth clinic operations and enhance the patient experience.


Handpiece Maintenance:
Conduct maintenance on handpieces using air stations, following manufacturer guidelines and university protocols.

Administrative Duties and Special Projects:
Engage in various projects and responsibilities that support the Clinical Administration's mission.


Collaborate with the Clinical Support Project Manager and Coordinator to ensure the efficient operation of the facility and contribute to special initiatives as required.


Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating organization and foresight
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as email communication and password management
- A self-motivated team player with sound judgment and maturity

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with dental instrumentation
- Certification as a Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) from IAHCSMM is preferred
- Over 5 years of experience in sterile processing, with knowledge of decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization protocols, as well as an understanding of dental instrumentation and/or dental assisting.
