Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at L3Harris Technologies. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our electronic manufacturing processes and products.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline, and at least 4 years of experience in a similar role. They will also have strong knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, including inspection and gaging.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing purchase orders, contracts, and specifications to determine quality requirements. You will ensure that these requirements are met throughout all stages of the project, from initial quotation request through production and delivery.

You will also prepare Certifications of Conformance (C of C) for materials and services delivered to government/customer. Additionally, you will review shipping documentation to ensure quality requirements compliance and coordinate with government/customer to schedule source inspections of materials and services as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review purchase orders, contracts, and specifications to determine quality requirements
  • Ensure quality requirements are met throughout all stages of the project
  • Prepare Certifications of Conformance (C of C) for materials and services delivered to government/customer
  • Review shipping documentation to ensure quality requirements compliance
  • Coordinate with government/customer to schedule source inspections of materials and services as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, including inspection and gaging
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems on your own
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. L3Harris Technologies offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
