Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at JAI HO LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples, distributing them to designated departments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and store blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Distribute samples to designated departments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate results
  • Monitor storage and inventory of medical supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized workspace
  • Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures, prioritizing patient and staff safety
  • Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions, providing compassionate and professional care
  • Perform EKGs, administer injections, and conduct urine analysis as required
  • Conduct rapid testing for strep, flu, COVID, and H. Pylori, providing accurate and timely results
  • Prepare and clean medical rooms, maintaining a clean and healthy environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in phlebotomy, nursing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment, with a strong understanding of technical procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
