Patient Care Associate

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team in Brookline, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Care Associate to provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families. As a Patient Care Associate, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote a safe and compassionate patient care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with direct patient care needs, including activities of daily living, meal setup, and vital sign collection.
- Contribute to the plan of care through ongoing communication with the registered nurse.
- Assist with patient data collection, including vital signs, pulse oximetry, and non-invasive blood pressure.
- Support a Culture of Safety by providing a safe and comfortable patient/family experience.
- Participate in hourly rounding, patient observation, and soft restraint reaplication as needed.
- Document patient care on approved forms or electronic medical record.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Six months experience as a Nursing Assistant or current enrollment in a formal nursing program.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of English language sufficient to read, speak, and write accurately.
- Ability to lift and transport patients using safe patient handling techniques.
