Patient Care Associate

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Support the RN with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
- Respond to patient and family needs, taking a proactive approach to unit operations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification as a nursing assistant required upon hire, unless incumbent is a nursing student who has completed fundamentals of nursing with a clinical component.
- Bi-lingual skills preferred.
- Prior experience in a Heme/onc setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross required upon hire.
