Position Overview

Florida Technical College, established in 1982, is dedicated to delivering private, post-secondary education with diploma, associate, and bachelor's degree programs across various fields, including Healthcare, Construction Trades, Hospitality, Beauty, Information Technology, and Business.

The role of the instructor is pivotal in offering students a comprehensive, relevant, and engaging educational experience. Responsibilities include teaching, assessing student outcomes, developing curriculum, advising students, and contributing to university initiatives. Faculty members are expected to engage in ongoing professional development, ensuring they maintain current expertise in their respective fields while fostering student growth through effective and innovative teaching methodologies.

We are currently seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the Culinary Arts program.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Culinary Arts and/or Baking and Pastry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Previous experience in college-level instruction.
  • Relevant industry or academic certifications/licenses (e.g., Serve Safe).

All candidates must possess exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe, and be familiar with information systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Academic programs are offered on a monthly basis.
