Role Summary:

  • We are in search of a proactive and skilled IT Support Specialist to maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure's functionality and security.
  • Responsibilities include supporting staff, improving technical systems, and contributing to IT process enhancements.
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and effective time management abilities.
  • Efficiently manage support ticket queues and provide on-site assistance.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016 and newer versions.
  • Oversee desktop operating systems and applications.
  • Manage email administration, including user setup and troubleshooting.
  • Address monitoring system alerts for networks and systems.
  • Conduct basic virtualization administration and manage virtual environments.
  • Oversee domain functionalities, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows and mobile operating systems, including Remote Desktop Services, VPN, and Office 365 applications using both GUI and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with patch management, vulnerability assessments, Microsoft AutoPilot, and backup solutions is essential.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting common remote access solutions and audiovisual equipment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum of 4 years in IT).
  • Must be a U.S. person.
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT support (helpdesk/service desk/MSP).
  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to work for extended periods while seated or standing and using computers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security+ (CompTIA Security+) and MS-900 / AZ-900 certifications.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment (e.g., MSP).
  • Strong skills in domain functionalities, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient with Remote Desktop Services, VPN, Office 365, patch management, Microsoft AutoPilot, and backup solutions.
  • Basic understanding of core network components and audiovisual equipment.
