About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Culinary Services team at Frontier Management (OR). As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of our culinary programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Culinary Services department, its programs, and activities.
  • Culinary Services Coordination: Coordinate Culinary Services with other departments, including Activities, Nursing, and Social Services.
  • Personnel Management: Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of Culinary Services personnel.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Determine departmental staffing requirements and assign personnel for each shift.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all sanitary codes are adhered to and conduct frequent sanitation audits to maintain compliance with State and Federal Sanitary Codes.
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Assist in planning and preparing menus to ensure meal quality and temperature.
Requirements
  • Education: High-school diploma required.
  • Certifications: Necessary certification required by the state (e.g., ServSafe).
  • Experience: 2 years of managerial experience and supervisory experience in kitchen operations.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Culinary Skills: Culinary skills required.
