Position Overview:
Carlisle Country Club, a historic family-oriented private club in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, is seeking dedicated Culinary Specialists. This club features an 18-hole golf course, a pool, and an elegant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly inventory assessments and maintain a thorough understanding of cost management.
- Participate in monthly kitchen staff meetings focused on training, safety, and departmental financials.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director in menu planning.
- Adhere to established standards for food taste and presentation consistency.
- Prepare a variety of ingredients including meats, seafood, and vegetables as required.
- Follow standard recipes meticulously during food preparation.
- Operate food preparation equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure all restaurant staff are knowledgeable about key ingredients and preparation methods for menu items.
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks as necessary.
- Implement practices to minimize waste and prevent loss.
- Uphold safe work practices and food handling standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong ability to multitask and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
