POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibilities include leveraging the Oracle system to identify scheduled eligible orders, creating pick waves, and overseeing the process until invoicing is completed.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Utilizing Oracle and other digital platforms to manage sales orders.
  • Engaging in all housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Promoting and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Implementing enhancements in shipping processes and optimizing area layouts.
  • Monitoring and tracking each order within the warehouse and shipping yard.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of order statuses.
  • Generating and distributing pick slips to shipping personnel.
  • Collaborating with various departments regarding product and order updates.
  • Coordinating the pulling of orders for shipping.
  • Managing parts orders and ensuring timely distribution to the parts department.
  • Familiarizing oneself with products and part numbers in the warehouse.
  • Ensuring accurate scanning of completed orders for invoicing.
  • Entering freight and shipping data as necessary.
  • Setting goals and operational policies aligned with Rotary Lift's objectives.
  • Assisting in the development of team goals and performance metrics.
  • Preparing orders and ensuring all documentation is accurate for export planning.
  • Utilizing a PC for order tracking within the Oracle system.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Tracking and coordinating special promotions.
  • Assisting the team in managing inventory electronically and ordering supplies.
  • Performing other related duties as required.
  • Adhering to environmental policies and procedures.
  • Participating in training activities and serving as a trainer when necessary.
  • Fostering a strong team environment, recognizing that team success is paramount.

CONTACTS:
Regular interaction with team leaders, customer service representatives, sales personnel, and operations staff. Customer interactions may include written communication, phone calls, and on-site visits.

EDUCATION:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; advanced business training or a college degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of five years in a manufacturing environment is required. Candidates should possess a customer-oriented mindset, knowledge of shipping procedures, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with the Oracle system are essential. A commitment to continuous improvement and World Class Manufacturing principles is expected.

RESPONSIBILITY:
This role requires a moderate degree of judgment. The individual will act as a leader, coach, and supporter in various team and product-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely delivery and improvements in the shipping area.
