Software Engineer Internship – Future Builders

Lennar Homes is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Technology Internship Program as Future Builders Interns. This 10-week paid internship is designed to provide rising college seniors with hands-on experience in software development, data engineering, and technology innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Software Engineer: Gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications, code high-quality solutions, and collaborate with technology engineering leaders.
- Data Engineer: Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity, perform data validation and cleansing activities, and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Graduating from a 4-year College or University between December 2025 and May 2026
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, Scala, Java, JavaScript, and C++
- Knowledge of delivery/release events, e.g., release notes, branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution
- Ability to work within Scrum & Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and written, and verbal communication skills

This is primarily a sedentary office position that requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive and return phone messages. Standing is required for filing and copying.
