Key Responsibilities
  • **Cleanliness and Sanitation**: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in all food and beverage areas, including kitchens, dining rooms, and storage areas.
  • **Dishwashing and Equipment Maintenance**: Operate commercial dishwashing machines and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards.
  • **Inventory Management**: Ensure that all food and beverage outlets have the necessary amounts of all items to properly open their shifts and that there are sufficient racks in which to place dirty dishes, silver, pots, and pans.
  • **Spill and Breakage Response**: Respond promptly to spills and breakage, and follow proper safety procedures to prevent accidents.
  • **Kitchen and Food Preparation Area Sanitation**: Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchens and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables, and floors.
  • **Trash Removal**: Remove and dispose of trash and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • **Deep Cleaning**: Participate in the deep cleaning of food and beverage areas as needed.
  • **Reporting and Communication**: Report any maintenance and/or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • **Education**: High school or equivalent education required.
  • **Experience**: Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred.
  • **Certifications**: Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification preferred.
  • **Physical Demands**: Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four (4) hours in length, lift up to 45 lbs., and push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
  • **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace, possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
