About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Food Service Attendant to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our dietary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve patient meals, snacks, and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless meal service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
  • Experience in working in a team environment with common goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year Experience in customer service, patient interactions, and food service.
  • Experience in Healthcare or Dietary kitchen using therapeutic diets.
  • 6 months Experience working on assembly line and delivering patient meal trays.
