We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team at the trak group. As a leading professional employment agency, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly journal entries, perform detailed account analysis, account reconciliations, and account roll-forwards
  • Conduct budget vs. actual analysis and ensure G/L account integrity is maintained
  • Identify and resolve unreconciled data to ensure accurate transaction reporting
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for monthly cost center reviews
  • Prepare bonus and commission reports/calculations for Field and National Account Sales teams
  • Support the preparation of internal and external financial reporting in line with GAAP standards
  • Review daily cash reporting and update cash forecasts
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, HR, and IT, on projects and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Dynamics or Great Plains is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
