Job Description:

We're seeking a skilled CDL-A Route Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks, including inspections of the tractor, trailer, and cargo.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, transport items to designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Complete daily records of hours of service and enter logs in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card
