Job Title: CDL-A Route Driver - Days

As a CDL-A Route Driver - Days, you will play a critical role in delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks on items.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and load customer returns onto the trailer.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
