Job Description:

We're seeking a skilled CDL-A Route Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks, including inspections of the tractor, truck, and trailer, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
