At Kaiser Permanente, we are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant II to join our Cardiac Surgery Endovascular Vein Harvest team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality medical services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology and endovascular vein harvest, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing and implementing treatment plans. Additionally, you will work closely with our patients to educate them on their conditions and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect subjective and objective data to develop a comprehensive assessment of each patient
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Work collaboratively with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality medical services
  • Provide education and guidance to patients on their conditions and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in cardiology and endovascular vein harvest

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program
  • Current California Physician Assistant License
  • Current national certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • Experience in cardiology and endovascular vein harvest
