Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for a travel assignment at United Hospital Center. This role requires specialized skills and certifications to ensure high-quality imaging services.

Certification Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) certification is mandatory.
  • BLS certification is also required.
Contract Details
  • Duration: 13-week contract
  • Specialty focus: MRI - 160
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain ARRT and BLS certifications.
  • Perform routine imaging in Neuro, MSK, and Abdominal areas.
  • Conduct specialty imaging for cardiac, prostate, and breast examinations.
  • Administer IVs as required by departmental protocols.
Work Schedule
  • Weekday shifts: 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM
  • Weekend shifts: 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM
  • No self-scheduling options available.
  • Positions available for full weekend or weekday shifts.
Department Insights
  • Average scans/studies per day: Weekday average of 52, Weekend average of 27.
  • Utilized EMR/PACS systems: EPIC and Synapse.
  • Departmental equipment includes Siemens technology.
  • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) utilized.
Additional Information
  • Weekend work is required.
  • No holiday work obligations.
  • No on-call or standby duties.
  • Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs provided.
  • Orientation specific to the department will be provided.
