Associate Director, Clinical Data Strategy and Operations, Oncology

Absorbent AbbVie is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to lead the Clinical Data Strategy and Operations team in Oncology. As a key member of the Data Science team, you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of projects against identified metrics, inspection readiness, and database lock readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical data strategies to drive business value from clinical trials data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and execute clinical trials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to ensure seamless data collection and management.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence and high-quality results.
- Participate in vendor qualification activities and set program-level data collection strategies.
- Represent Data Science at Portfolio Review Meetings and lead TA Review meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of pharma/clinical research/data management/healthcare experience or 10+ years of project management experience.
- In-depth understanding of clinical trial processes and involved functional stakeholders.
- Management of a clinical trial from initiation through to completion in a lead role.
- Demonstrated performance as a cross-functional leader.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach/mentor in a matrix environment.
