Key Responsibilities:

The Field Operations Manager plays a crucial role in blending leadership with hands-on management experience. This position collaborates closely with Operations Managers and oversees field teams. The Field Operations Manager ensures consistent oversight across various clients and teams, which is essential for maintaining quality control and uniformity in all operational aspects. They guarantee that teams complete their assigned tasks accurately and safely, provide necessary training and feedback, and ensure effective communication during site transitions.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee field crews to ensure tasks are executed correctly and efficiently.
  • Implement operational plans weekly and monthly in accordance with service agreements and unique client contracts, including emergency response or after-hours work orders.
  • Ensure field personnel possess the necessary knowledge and training for their assigned tasks.
  • Travel to job sites to prepare for specialized or complex assignments by managing site logistics and security in advance of team arrivals.
  • Conduct pre- and post-service inspections of client job sites, documenting detailed observations and measurements for effective planning.
  • Provide daily reports on key metrics and documentation to finalize orders, including employee hours, materials utilized, and other relevant site or client-specific data.
  • Drive a company vehicle and perform work inspections on-site as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Regularly engage with employees and clients, addressing complaints and resolving conflicts.
  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure the office has a 30-day supply of products.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime due to equipment issues.
  • Support standard operating procedure meetings to review service levels and performance against schedules.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to assist in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Provide weekly evaluations of technicians' professional development and training needs.
  • Supervise the organization and cleanliness of storage areas.
  • Oversee the accounting of all equipment, disposable items, and chemical usage.
  • Ensure proper labeling of chemicals at the office and on client sites.
  • Lead by example to inspire and motivate technicians.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards on all projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in cleaning and restoring various floor coverings is preferred.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years of general maintenance or cleaning experience.
  • Strong understanding of company operations and how service production aligns with company values and key performance indicators.
  • Willingness to travel overnight for specialized training or out-of-town client assignments.
  • Basic computer skills for accessing timecards, training, and employment information.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean background check are required.
  • Work environment is primarily indoors in commercial facilities during second and third shifts, with a noise level that is usually quiet in office settings and moderate in other situations.
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus.
