Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our residents.

• Meal Production and Service: Coordinate the preparation and serving of nutritious and appealing meals to residents, adhering to established orders, standards, and regulations.
• Menu Development and Creation: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement pleasing and unique recipes and menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary needs of our residents.
• Quality Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve the quality of meals prepared and served daily, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
• Observation and Documentation: Observe and document information as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
