Overview
Avera is seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients, staff, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and guests in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Manage kitchen staff and ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with the Nutrition Services Manager to plan and execute special events and functions.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a chef in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 80 hours every 2 weeks, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm.
