We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Phoenix. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.
Responsibilities- Perform routine tasks in patient care, including bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care.
- Answer patient lights and provide timely services to enhance patient well-being.
- Participate in hourly rounds and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assist patients in regaining independence.
- Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant, or in a related field.
- A comprehensive orientation program.
- A collaborative work environment with an interdisciplinary team.
