The OSP Field Inspector is a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of Outside Plant construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of buried and aerial cable installations, ensuring they meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and oversee various activities on the project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project plans.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify the quality of buried and aerial cable installations, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Field Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of installed cable, pole placement, and drops, providing valuable insights for future projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with OSP Fiber Planners and Field Inspectors to route and determine fiber placement, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of outside plant construction or telecommunications experience, preferably with a focus on fiber infrastructure.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., telecommunications, engineering) preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams, and experience with locator knowledge and fiber infrastructure.
