Position Overview:

In the role of Sanitation Services Specialist, you will be essential in ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout our community.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining a sanitary environment that promotes the health and well-being of residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong dedication to cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:

- Execute floor care tasks, including carpet extraction, stain removal, buffing, and floor refinishing.

- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of floors through regular sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing as required. Report any flooring maintenance issues. - Conduct routine cleaning, sanitization, and disinfection of common areas, offices, and designated spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. - Clean and disinfect surfaces such as windows, mirrors, countertops, and furniture to inhibit germ spread and maintain a tidy environment. - Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as necessary, reporting any shortages to the appropriate supervisor. - Adhere to all safety, infection control, and sanitation service policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. - Respond swiftly to spills, accidents, or emergencies requiring immediate cleaning and disinfection to ensure the safety of all individuals in the facility. - Collaborate effectively with fellow sanitation team members and other departments to achieve shared objectives and deliver outstanding service. - Empty and clean waste receptacles. - Assist in moving and arranging furniture and equipment as needed. - Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent. - 1-2 years of experience in sanitation services, janitorial work, or a related field preferred. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as well as safety protocols. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues and facility occupants. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. - Basic English proficiency.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the workday. - Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and holding up to 60 pounds. - Ability to stoop, bend, and stretch frequently in confined spaces.
