Job Title: Barista

At Abby's Catering, we're seeking a skilled Barista to join our culinary team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to the highest standards of food safety and quality.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu offerings and promotions, making recommendations to customers as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a coffee bar environment, with a focus on hot beverage making.
  • Valid Food Safety Certificate recognized by local authorities.
  • Proficient knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems.
  • Strong basic math skills and ability to handle cash, credit, and check transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (verbal communication only) a plus.
