Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - CC to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse - CC will be responsible for:
- Providing professional nursing care to patients, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Assisting physicians and staff with daily coordination of patient care and patient access.
- Coordinating patient flow, scheduling appointments, procedures, tests, and referrals.
- Mentoring and precepting clinical staff as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Louisiana State license as RN; BLS.
- Proficient in the English language, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
The Registered Nurse - CC will be measured on their ability to:
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patient psychosocial and physiologic assessments are performed at all times.
- Formulate a plan of care based on trends of similar patients, including patient education and discharge planning.
- Participate in the planning of routine transitional healthcare needs, including treatment options, patient placement options, and end-of-life options.
- Respond to changes in patient needs and provide holistic care using independent clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with patients and families to identify realistic desired outcomes and adapt educational programs and information accordingly.
- Ensure efficiency in the delivery of care, determining immediate priorities and offering solutions for problems as needed.
- Advocate for patient rights and identify potential conflicts, seeking counsel for resolution as necessary.
- Identify variances from expected outcomes and revise the plan of care based on patient outcomes.
- Accurately document patient care activities per documentation standards and provide assistance to the healthcare team as needed.
