We are seeking a qualified Med/Surg RN to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility in Monroe, Louisiana. As a Med/Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent experience as a Med/Surg RN
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice, if applicable
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of professionalism during stressful times
- Valid Driver's License
- Background and drug screen
