Position Overview:
We are seeking additional Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage due to an increase in demand, including vacation relief and the replacement of a full-time employee.
Expect to work 8-10 shifts monthly, with each shift being a 12-hour period, covering both day and night schedules. Shift times include: 7 AM - 5 PM, 9 AM - 7 PM, 2 PM - 12 AM, and 7 PM - 5 AM.Required certifications include ATLS, PALS, BLS, and ACLS.
There is no on-call duty.
The average patient volume is between 30-50 patients per day, with responsibilities including suturing, incision and drainage, and other procedures.
The coverage structure consists of 50 hours of APP coverage and 36 hours of physician coverage per week.
Electronic Medical Records:
The facility utilizes EPIC EMR.
Credentialing typically takes 45 days unless expedited due to urgent needs based on shift requirements.
