Position Overview:
GovCIO is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Protection Specialist with an active Top Secret clearance. This role involves a blend of onsite and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring critical security measures are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages with intrusion detection teams to pinpoint, document, and manage cyber threats effectively.
- Delivers prompt and actionable sanitized intelligence to cyber incident response teams.
- Utilizes extensive technical expertise in computer systems and networks to evaluate the client's security framework.
- Performs intelligence assessments to analyze intrusion patterns, tactics, techniques, and procedures related to potential cyber attacks.
- Investigates cybercriminals, their methodologies, vulnerabilities, and exploits, while providing comprehensive briefings and intelligence reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of pertinent cybersecurity experience (or equivalent experience).
- Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

Compensation Information:
The compensation range provided reflects the expected salary for this position at the start of employment. However, the actual base salary offered may vary based on individual factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package may also include additional elements, which will be discussed during the hiring process.
Posted Salary Range: USD $108,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
