Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the Key Operations Department
- Ensure proper parking and alignment of all vehicles according to company standards
- Keep main shop waiting areas clear
- Ensure all electric vehicles are properly charged
- Verify the correct insertion and matching of keys on the Key Management system
- Provide protective seat covers for all service vehicles
- Manage inventory of keys, vehicles, and seat covers
- Ensure radios are charged and functional
- Respond promptly to radio communications and technician requests
- Oversee the correct placement of sales vehicles
- Address issues related to windows and sunroofs
- Assist valets with requests and vehicle pickups
- Supervise the opening and closing of inventory
- Help clear the service drive when necessary
- Support drivers during towing procedures
- Welcome and assist team members in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls with a positive attitude and provide necessary assistance
- Maintain logs and ensure notes are clear and legible
- Prepare the store for opening at the start of the day
- Secure the store at the end of the day
- Assist with customer service and uphold cleanliness and organization within the store
- Manage alarm and security systems effectively
- Accurately log and insert all keys into the Key Management system
Additional Duties:
- Identify and report any operational issues
- Review logs for accuracy
- Encourage effective communication and teamwork
- Assist other departments as needed based on business requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an automotive dealership
- Basic computer proficiency
- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude
- Responsible and diligent work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Timely management of requests and correspondence
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Able to delegate tasks effectively
