Job Overview:

Lowe Electric Supply Company is seeking a highly motivated Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue growth through sales efforts.

You will be working closely with our sales manager to develop and implement sales strategies, identify market trends, and analyze sales data to inform decision-making. Your primary objective will be to sell electric supply products and services to a variety of customer bases, including contractors, commercial end-users, manufacturers, and government agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with existing customers to drive revenue growth through sales efforts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, identifying market trends and analyzing sales data to inform decision-making.
  • Sell electric supply products and services to a variety of customer bases, including contractors, commercial end-users, manufacturers, and government agencies.
  • Handle inbound sales lead calls, converting calls into sales and providing excellent customer service.
  • Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers, communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and internal personnel.
  • Actively provides product demos to customers, introducing new services and solutions to enhance their businesses.
  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for obtained orders.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships, investigating and resolving customer problems with all Lowe Electric Service issues.
  • Attends trade shows, sales meetings, and product training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred.
  • At least two years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Knowledge of accounting software, contact management systems, internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office software.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable automobile with insurance required.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus commission-based incentives and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
