Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this Assembly Technician position include:

  • Preparation and setup: Prepare work by studying product and process documentation, parts list, tools, and fixtures.
  • Equipment operation: Set up and operate appropriate equipment, tools, and fixtures to assemble connectors, labels, and associated parts.
  • Quality control: Work with QA and Process Engineering to ensure product quality, identifying and resolving assembly issues, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Safety and maintenance: Maintain a safe working environment, comply with company policies and procedures, and perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Record-keeping: Record and document all assembly-related inspection and test results, materials, parts, tools, and fixtures.
