Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with various tasks, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and providing customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, counting and pouring medications, and verifying patient information.
  • Process transactions, handle cash, and operate pharmacy systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
