We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the University of Washington. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with the intake of new and refill prescriptions.
- Order entry of medication orders, including controlled substances, into the ambulatory pharmacy computer system, for pharmacist verification.
- Fill patient prescriptions and perform financial functions supporting the prescription-filling process.
- Dispense prescriptions to patients, referring those who require counseling to a pharmacist for dispensing.
- Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent education/experience.
- State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification.
