Infrastructure Systems Specialist

The Opportunity:

We are in search of an infrastructure systems specialist who possesses a distinct combination of development, engineering, and communication skills to assist us in delivering optimal solutions for our clients.

In your role as an infrastructure systems specialist, you will facilitate the optimization of the software development life cycle, from initial requirements through to production monitoring. You will integrate open-source solutions, automation, and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks, thereby allowing our developers to focus on their core competencies—creation. Collaborating with the team, you will implement continuous integration and delivery practices to reduce manual testing and troubleshooting efforts. This position offers an excellent opportunity to refine your expertise in cutting-edge automation, infrastructure, and cloud-based development while contributing to impactful software solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing tools and processes to enhance DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, testing, monitoring, and deployment across various environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in automating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools.
  • Experience collaborating with application development teams throughout the software development life cycle, providing solutions to complex challenges in a cooperative team setting.
  • Experience hosting applications on commercial Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Understanding of continuous automation across diverse technical stacks.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving issues for both open-source and commercial tools in public Cloud environments.
