Fleet Services Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Services Manager to join our team at Insight Imaging (NC). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our fleet of vehicles and ensuring compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measures and ensures compliance with all applicable DOT and Company Fleet Policies and regulations
  • Initiates DOT inspections when necessary
  • Audits all routes at least twice annually
  • Coordinates transportation of mobile units, adjusts asset moves for other companies and coordinates actions with other company representatives
  • Reviews specifications for new equipment
  • Investigates incidents and accidents involving company equipment and assigned personnel
  • Establishes, reviews and revises work procedures relative to administrative and clerical functions
  • Reviews and approve invoices for maintenance work and interface with vendors to discuss questions or problems

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of commercial driving, vehicle maintenance and fleet planning experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Valid class A driver's license and proof of current insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of commercial driver experience
  • 2 years of fleet administration
