Job Summary

FuelCell Energy is seeking a highly skilled Director of Global Fleet Management to lead our fleet operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our global fleet, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and planning.

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Director of Global Fleet Management will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies to improve fleet performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement fleet management strategies to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  2. Lead a team of fleet operations professionals to ensure the efficient and effective management of our global fleet.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  4. Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  5. Identify and execute cost reduction projects to improve profitability.
  6. Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to department heads.
  7. Develop and implement data analytics to improve fleet reliability and performance.
  8. Oversee the implementation of engineering change orders and technical service bulletins.
  9. Provide direction and leadership to field service managers to ensure planned maintenance schedules are executed and fleet operations are maintained 24/7.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering degree, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in fleet management or a related field. A Master's degree in Engineering or an MBA is strongly desired. The candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and technical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Computerized Maintenance Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and/or Project Portfolio Management Systems, as well as intermediate skills in MS Office and experience planning and performing maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, and/or military environment.

Working Conditions

The Director of Global Fleet Management will work in an office environment, with occasional travel required to support fleet operations. The successful candidate will have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license, as well as the ability to obtain and maintain a current US passport.
