Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our Ellsworth facility. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as needed.
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
  • Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to participate.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
