Clinical Social Work Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Social Work Leadership Role to join our team as a Manager of Social Work Supported Programs. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the Social Work Supported Programs portfolio with a focus on institutional excellence and strategic vision. This includes upholding and supporting the refinement of social work best practices and CCS policies in both independent and teamwork. You will also manage workflow to meet portfolio priorities in partnership with the CCS Director, and work with staff to codify program protocols and establish programmatic enhancements and efficiencies. As a member of our leadership team, you will be expected to be a strategic partner to the Director and peers, addressing a broad array of department and program matters, and fostering inter- and intra-departmental collaboration and team dynamics.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include managing and executing the Social Work Supported Programs portfolio with a focus on institutional excellence and strategic vision, upholding and supporting the refinement of social work best practices and CCS policies in both independent and teamwork, and managing workflow to meet portfolio priorities in partnership with the CCS Director. The successful candidate will also work with staff to codify program protocols and establish programmatic enhancements and efficiencies, and be the operational lead for home assessments and the Friendly Visiting program. Additionally, you will provide clinical supervision of LMSW social workers pursuing their LCSW through the state of NY, and partner with the Senior Program and Marketing and Communications teams to develop a new recruitment strategy and messaging to attract more older adults and volunteers for the Friendly Visiting program.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an LCSW with a minimum of 5 years professional social work experience, demonstrating an increasing level of responsibility. You should also have a proven track record of managing a social work cohort, with at least 3 years of experience as a social work supervisor. Additionally, you should have direct experience with and comprehensive understanding of the field of aging and social work best practices, as well as the ability to foster a spirit of collaboration with staff during both routine and transformational periods. Finally, you should have the capacity to think strategically, take initiative, and problem solve while incorporating sound clinical judgment.
