Retail Market Director

About the Role
The Market Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our dispensary operations within their district. This includes staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures, driving sales growth, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Stores to develop and execute market strategies that improve store performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support change management initiatives within the region, ensuring a smooth transition to new retail strategies.
- Develop and coach direct reports, focusing on performance assessment, goal setting, and regular feedback.
- Oversee operational practices, ensuring each dispensary runs efficiently and meets projected revenue and sales estimates.
- Ensure all projects are executed profitably and in compliance with standardized business practices.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity, applying innovative approaches to drive business growth.
- Cultivate and guide teams in maintaining profit margins and implementing business plans.
- Ensure district operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, upholding company policies and values.
- Analyze business trends and provide insights to senior management.
- Act as a liaison between headquarters and site locations, facilitating communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Two to four years of experience in a related field.
- Three plus years of multi-unit management experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and business development knowledge.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to sell, manage, and drive growth.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
Essential Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations.
- Self-motivated and able to multitask.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to stay focused.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Reliable transportation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, prolonged periods of sitting, and working on a computer.
