Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in defense acquisition, with a minimum of 5 years in the previous 10 years in support of Navy Acquisition management
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with aircraft systems, HW and SW, configuration control, T&E, systems integration, and systems supportability
  • Experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives
  • Experience managing different phases of aircraft system acquisition, including Concept Development, System Development and Demonstration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or PMI-ACP
  • Experience with acquisition policies and procedures
