Job Title: Advanced Health Care Professional

WellStreet Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our urgent care center, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients, both adults and children, while working in collaboration with our physicians.

Job Summary:

This role involves planning, evaluating, and implementing effective medical care strategies while ensuring optimal resource management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient satisfaction through adherence to the service and courtesy standard of WellStreet Care.
  • Provide patient care within the clinical area, adhering to professional staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and WellStreet Care policies and procedures.
  • Promote patient/family and staff education, serving as a valuable resource for knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, completing necessary documentation to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
  • Participate in meetings and activities that support the operations of the urgent care center.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development, maintaining certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS, and any additional specialty training/certifications required.
Requirements:
  • Active Georgia medical license.
  • Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study.
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordance with the state of Georgia.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
  • Experience with reading diagnostic studies, including x-rays and EKGs.
  • BLS certification (WellStreet will provide if needed).
  • Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet.
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
