We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Counterperson to join our team at Wolter, Inc. in West Salem. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their parts needs, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to phone calls and in-person requests for parts.
- Fill customer and internal requests for parts, checking all available resources to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Place requisitions for parts via computer as needed to support customer orders.
- Assist technicians with parts needs, including determining required parts and pulling them from stock.
- Prepare parts quotes for outside customers and follow up to secure orders.
- Complete parts quotes for service jobs and forward to the service department.
- Assist walk-in customers with their parts needs and provide support during the annual parts physical inventory.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by the Regional Parts Manager.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong computer proficiency.
