About the Role

At Global Channel Management, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Medical Representative to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting our members and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the clinical team by serving as a proactive resource for members related to disease prevention and benefit education.
  • Conduct educational telephone calls to advise members of available benefits, services, and programs, and complete health needs assessments as needed.
  • Reach out to members with identified gaps in care, encouraging and motivating them to become compliant, and offering assistance in locating providers and scheduling appointments.
  • Manage system work queues, screening identified members for eligibility, prior case activities, recent claims, customer service inquiries, and authorization history, and assigning members to the clinical team for call outreach and intervention.
  • Facilitate research and analysis of inquiries and/or complaints related to processes and designations, member lost incentives, and other program-related inquiries.
  • Work overtime as needed to ensure the timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a customer service support role is required.
  • Possibility of a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment, sharing responsibility, roles, and accountability.
  • Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Independent, sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in an independent and creative manner.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
